This delicious smoothie is quick & easy to make and can be enjoyed by the whole family. With the added benefits of cashews, which are rich in monounsaturated fats for a healthy heart, are a good source of plant protein and contain iron, zinc, magnesium & copper, this Nutty Banana Smoothie is an excellent snack for kids & mums alike!
Recipe: Nutty Banana Smoothie
- 1.5 cups milk of choice
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 1 handful (30g) cashews
- 1 tsp honey
Makes 1 serving.
- Place all ingredients in a blender & blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
